The more players at the table, the lower the odds of each player getting a flush.......
In a game of poker each player is dealt 5 cards. what is the probability that the hand consist of 4 diamonds?
I thought 13/52 x 12/51 x 11/50 x 10/49 then multiply this by the probably of not getting a diamond 39/49. This is wrong and I am wondering why.
thanks

You have to multiply by 5 (5 choose 1) because these cards could e in any order.

So the answer is what you wrote above, times 5.

You missed adding the factor of how MANY players are in the hand. The more players at the table, the lower the odds of each player getting a flush.
