135, 225 and 315 deg.......
Solve: sin^2 x = cos^2 x for 0 degrees is less than or equal to x is less than 360 degrees
Please show steps, ty!

-
sin^2(x)=1-sin^2(x)
2sin^2(x)=1
sin^2(x)=1/2
sin(x)=sqrt(1/2) or sin(x)=-sqrt(1/2)

45 degrees 135 degrees 225 degrees 315 degrees

-
using the fact sin^2 x + cos^2 x =1, ie cos^2 x = 1-sin^2 x , the question becomes
sin^2 x = 1 - sin^2x ie 2sin^2 x =1 giving sin^2 x =1/2 ie sin x = + or - sqrt (1/2)
x=45, 135, 225 and 315 deg.
