correct? Sototal area is 0.0228-0.0062= 0.0166?Im not sure if all my calculation are correct.......
Is my answer correct??

Question:

Determine the area under the standard normal curve that lies between -2.5 and -2.

My solution is:

Z(1)= -2.5; therefore, the Area (1)= 1.1162
Z(2)= -2; therefore, the Area (2)= 0.0228

To get the total area between is A(2)-A(1), correct? So total area is 0.0228-0.0062= 0.0166?

I'm not sure if all my calculation are correct...

I think you messed up on your typing, but your final answer is correct:

P ( z < -2.5 ) = 0.0062
P ( z < -2 ) = 0.0228
P (-2.5 < z < -2) = 0.0165
