common denominator is (x-4)(x-1)(x+3)
7(x-1)-4(x-4)/(x-4)(x-1)(x+3)

(3x+9)/denomnator (too long to wrtite lol)
3(x+3)/denominator
x+3 cancels out so you willl have
3/(x-4)(x-1)

7 4 3
--------- - --------- = ---------
(x-4)(x+3) (x+3)(x-1) (x-4)(x-1)

you subtract the top to get 3
then the 2 x+3 cancel out and you are left with (x-4)(x-1)

7/(x-4)(x+3) - 4/(x+3)(x-1)

[1/(x-4)(x+3)(x-1)]*[7(x-1) - 4(x-4)]

[1/(x-4)(x+3)(x-1)]*[7x - 7 - 4x + 16]

[1/(x-4)(x+3)(x-1)]*[3x + 9]

[3/(x-4)(x+3)(x-1)]*[x + 3]

3/(x-4)(x-1)
