y).-Equation 2 (N:2X-4y=-6) because if you substitutex for 1 and 2 for y the equation would be 2(1)-4(2)=-6 which would equal 2-8=-6 which would be correct. However, if you did that for the first one it would be M:4(1)-3(2)=4 which would turn into 4-6=4 which is incorrect.......
I forgot how to resolve this kind of exersies, can anyone please resolve it with the prosses I just need to remember thanks!

Consider the ordered pair (1, 2) and the two equations in two unknowns:
M: 4x - 3y = 4 ; N: 2x - 4y = -6. Which of the following is correct ?

-
4x-3y=4
4(1)-3(2)=4
4-6=4
Incorrect

2x-4y=-6
2(1)-4(2)=-6
2-8=-6
Correct

N is correct
M is incorrect

All you had to do was substitute (1,2) for x and y (x,y).

-
N is the correct one
