if air were pumped into a ball could the inside of the ball have so much pressure that it would be hard for something in it to move

It would obviously pop by this point, but it would have to get to the point that the contents became liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen and dry ice. This mixture would still have a somewhat low friction, but definitely more friction than air For the object to not be able to move at all, it would have to be compressed until the entire contents became solid.
