4s2 (2 is a power) - 4s + 1

6x2 ( 2 is a power ) - 3 - 7x

5x2 (2 is a power ) - 2x - 7

3x2 (2 is a power ) - x - 4

2x2 (2 is a power ) + 5x - 3

-
4s^2 -4s +1
what numbers multiply to give 1st term times last term (4) and add to give middle term (-4)
4s^2 -2s -2s +1
group like terms
2s (2s -1) -1(2s -1)
put outside terms into one bracket
(2s-1)(2s-1)
(2s-1)^2

6x^2 -7x -3
what numbers multiply to give 1st term times last term (-18) and add to give middle term (-7)
6x^2 +2x -9x -3
group like terms
2x(3x+1) -3(3x+1)
put outside terms into one bracket
(2x-3)(3x+1)

5x^2 -2x -7
what numbers multiply to give 1st term times last term (-35) and add to give middle term (-2)
5x^2 -7x +5x -7
group like terms
5x (x+1) -7(x+1)
put outside terms into one bracket
(5x-7)(x+1)

3x^2 -x -4
what numbers multiply to give 1st term times last term (-12) and add to give middle term (-1)
3x^2 -4x+3x -4
group like terms
3x(x+1) -4(x+1)
put outside terms into one bracket
(3x-4)(x+1)

2x^2 +5x -3
what numbers multiply to give 1st term times last term (-6) and add to give middle term (5)
2x^2 +6x -1x -3
group like terms
x(2x-1) +3(2x -1)
put outside terms into one bracket
(x+3)(2x-1)

4s^2-4s+1=0 (I assume that is how you meant it)
using the AC method.... 4s^2-2s-2s+1

factor by grouping
factor out 2s of the first two terms
2s(2s-1)
factor -1 from the second two -1(2s-1)
2s-1=0
2s=1
divide by 2
s =1/2
you can factor all of these using the AC method.

-
4s2 (2 is a power) - 4s + 1
= (2s-1)(2s-1)

6x2 ( 2 is a power ) - 3 - 7x
= (3x+1)(2x-3)

5x2 (2 is a power ) - 2x - 7
= (5x-7)(x+1)

3x2 (2 is a power ) - x - 4
= (3x-4)(x+1)

2x2 (2 is a power ) + 5x - 3
= (2x-1)(x+3)

-
4s2 (2 is a power) - 4s + 1
= (2s-1)(2s-1)

6x2 ( 2 is a power ) - 3 - 7x
= (3x+1)(2x-3)

5x2 (2 is a power ) - 2x - 7
= (5x-7)(x+1)

3x2 (2 is a power ) - x - 4
= (3x-4)(x+1)

2x2 (2 is a power ) + 5x - 3
= (2x-1)(x+3)
