How do you integrate

.sound familiar?so with 15, the exponent on x would be 0, so you just have to throw on an x to 15.your ans should be,......
15+0.025x+(-7.9x10^4)x^-2 dx

It has been a few semesters since I had calculus and I can't exactly remember how to solve the whole thing. Do you take each x and add one to it and if so what do you do to the 15? Thanks!

you got half of it. you have to add 1 the power of each x, but you have to divide the constant by the new exponent. eqn is (x^n+1)/n+1...sound familiar?

so with 15, the exponent on 'x' would be 0, so you just have to throw on an x to 15.

your ans should be, 15x + 0.025/2 x^2 + [(-7.9x10^4)/-1]x^-1. just simplify it by dividing those fractions.
