Put the following formula in a cell (I used A8):
=11327.5*((1+D1)^16+
(1+D1)^15+
(1+D1)^14+
(1+D1)^13+
(1+D1)^12)
Enter the above as one continuous string.
Put 1 in the cell D1.
Run goal seek by doing the following:
1. Data Tab
2. What If Analysis
3. Goal Seek
4. "Set Cell" to A8
5. "To Value" 63163
6. "By Changing Cell" D1.
Answer should appear in Cell D1 as 0.00781514973346338
