U1 = 2, Un+1 = 3Un - 4

I got, 2, 2, 2 for the next 3 terms and the answers say -24, -76, -232. Am I right or are they wrong?

If U1 = - 20/3, then it would produce -24, -76, -232.

So it looks like the book gave you the wrong starting number. It should be -20/3 and not 2
