Math hlep! Quiz tomorrow!!!!!!

Ok so I need help with this questions in linear equations, for grade 9. It asks:

Solve for Y and graph the equation. How do I \solve for Y?! I know the grid part. Please Help.
-2y - 2x + 2 = -10y +1

Write soon...

Get all the y-terms on the left side of the equation and
every other term to the Right side

- 2y - 2x + 2 = - 10y + 1..........ADD 10y to both sides

8y - 2x + 2 = - 1.....................ADD 2x to both sides

8y + 2 = + 2x - 1....................SUBTRACT 2 from both sides

8y = 2x - 3.............................DIVIDED every term by 8

y = (1/4)x - 3/8.......ANSWER

Ask someone to write a number, say a five-digit number.
(Can be a 2-digit.....3-digit.....4-digit....ect..…
Suppose the number written is

Now, without showing the asker, you write a number on
a sheet of paper and keep it folded. You have to write the
number by subtracting 2 from the above number and
adding 2 in front which will be....

Next, ask the person to write another five-digit number
below his original number. Suppose he writes 37589.
So you now have...
