Find equation of circle tangent to the y-axis with center at (3,5).

I going to assume that the y axis is the tangent. so the equation that you need is
(y-1y)^2+ (x-1x)^2= r^2
with 1y and 1x being the coordinates of the centre of the circle.

the radius is the length from the centre of the circle to the y axis so r= 3

so fill in the equation

(y-5)^2+(x-3)^2= 9
