Zero is neither positive nor negative, hence 4 is the answer.

Now, since we have an AP, first term = a = -100,
difference = d = 4
nth term = tn = 4

We know that tn = a + (n-1)*d
Substituting,

4 = -100 + (n-1)*4
104 = 4n - 4
108 = 4n
2n = 54
n = 27

27th term which is 4 is the first positive term.
