Up until now all my problems were ax^2 + bx + c. Now that theres no exponent, Im a bit confused on how to work this problem out. Would the -2x still be my ax? Any help would be much appreciated!-First,......
The equation is -2x + 4x +5, and it's asking me if it opens up or down, the vertex, and the intercepts.

First, simplify:
Y=-2x+4x+5
Y=2x+5
Because the equation follows the format "y=mx+b," it is linear. Therefore, the original questions cannot be answered.
