How do you solve two right angle triangle with a common side? A surveyor stands 100m from the base of a tower on which an aerial stands. Measures the angles of elevation to the top and bottom of the aerial as 58 degree and 56 degree. Find the height of the aerial.
I tried Tan 56 degree times 100 but the answer i got isn't the answer :(

Please help! I search for every crap on internet but didn't find any :(
Thank you for your help!

Let,
building height = x meters,
Aerial height = h meters
SO,
x = 100tan56 = 148.26
AND
x+h = 100tan58 = 160
OR,
h = 160-x = 160-148.26 = 11.74 meters >=======================< ANSWER
