i just took some Tylenol PM for my stiff neck and I realized it expired back in 2006. I looked online to see if it was okay and it said that it shouldn't be all too bad, but I just want more of an opinion?

1] one dose of an expired Tylenol won't hurt you
2] do not need to throw it up [ as you said, that would aggravate your neck pain ]
3] when you feel lbetter, clean out your medicine cabinet, and restock accordingly
4] i clean mine every two years or so

Medicines may not work as well when they are past there expiration date but they wont hurt (with the possible exception of tetracycline.) You do not need to vomit them up.

At best, the pills wont work.
