Doctors don't routinely test their patients for drugs. Blood work an a urinalysis are standard screening test for your general health. I'm certain you doctor is not drug testing you.
Your doctor is not a cop. If you are doing drugs the only reason they want to know is how it might be affecting your health. That's why they ask. Be honest with your doctor. This is a trust relationship and it works both ways. You need to trust them and they need to trust you.
