yes if your moving to the Lake Erie area you'll get lake effect snow but if you're moving near Philly like I'm at there is lots of snow

No, it only snows in Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Ohio. In other words, snow will only show itself in the states surrounding Pa. Thus, you are quite safe.
