Need cloning assistance. What am I doing wrong

So my dog died after being hit by a car.
I loved him so much that I decided to clone him.
Something has gone wrong though.
So far I have tried ACME Clone and Mega Clone which I bought off the Professor from the University, and the el cheapo Brand X Clone that I bought on Ebay.
The 3 clones I have made of my dog, he has turned out with balls. But he had no balls when he was alive!
Can you assist? What am I doing wrong? I have followed the instructions on the packets each time, but these balls keep on coming with the cloned dog and I do not want them.
