Fish evolved to a quadruped that climbed out of water to live on land and probably was an ancestor to an amphibian, but probably NOT an ancestor of a primate. WE came form a primate ancestor that was not a monkey and not a human either... Evolution is like a tree branching, with species diverging in different directions from a common ancestor that was neither.
