I just realized it was like a spirit was trying to enter you - take over or something. I spoke with someone yesterday who said his friend had the same sort of experience- like something wanted to take hold, and a voice said to them to get out. I know this sounds weird, but I am checking the internet and there are lots of things there about spirit possession. Has anyone gone through something similar to this?

a spirit tried to possess me, but i had a friend downstairs who assisted me and gave me a bonus to my saving throw. i ended up making the check, and the demon recoiled. i then used a quickened banish spell to throw it back into the abyss where it came from.
and then there was this time that a demon attacked me and my friends, but we managed to work as a team. i was the healer and my friend was tanking, two of the dps's were down, but the rogue was able to finish it off after blowing some cooldowns.

Yes it is scary. I have some stories but you only received 1 normal answer here so I'm scared to tell. But the person who answered before me is totally right, call out for Jesus and say I cast you out in jesus' name. Get out. It has helped me tremendously. I was attacked a couple of times in my sleep

with most its usually only experienced when waking or in sleep. In reality its the astral plane and its kind of the half way point from earth to the next life. Sometimes either through Gods will or just plain chance we get caught in a different state of mind that we are conscious of this realm and then by un lucky chance are visited by a evil entity. The person usually escalates the situation by their own fear and the entity will feed off this persons fear for personal gratification or other unknown reasons. A little secret if your caught in one of these circumstances is to send that entity PUL aka pure unconditional love and it will either drive that being away or it will change into something else entirely. Also you can call upon god, jesus christ, a guardian angel, etc anything that you believe can protect you and 9 times out of 10 it will work. You can also create a aura of light with your mind and drown the entity out. This sounds like science fiction I know but life believe it or not is quite sci fi like in the realms beyond this one, some just arnt aware. Now straight up possession from an evil spirit/spirits while in waking life is something else entirely and usually can only happen through personal invitation of the person possessed. We are however influenced from spirits beyond the veil every day whether thats from good ones or bad ones and its mainly governed by our own choices and free will. So I dont know if you want to call this possession per say but merely just joined or united energy I guess you could say being directed/influenced from a spiritual source. Some people are more sensitive spiritually than others with being influenced again from the bad or the good side. hope this makes sense
