So you should either increase the force you apply to it (swing harder), and/or increase the time that the bat and ball are in contact (make sure you follow through).

momentum = mass x velocity

Either increase the mass of the bat with the same velocity or increase the velocity with the same mass.

Momentum is equal to mass of object x velocity.

So basically, hit it faster.
