Centre of gravity understanding question

location...??so for an easy object like a sphere of the earththe center of gravity is the point at the very center .......
and a location is a position, and a point is a position, then how am i supposed understand these concepts if they are defined within each other? my head really hurts, i get that a point has only a location(sorta an infinitely small location) but a location is defined as a position and a position is basically defined as a location so how can i understand without perhaps understanding the definition but for maybe a explanation ( a definitionwould be nice though) for position, point a ,location...??thanks

if i say hamburger that means one thing

if i say ground beef that means the same thing

they are two names for the same thing thats all same as the position and location are the same thing I really dont see what the problem is

regarding center of gravity you just find the center of an object where if you put all the mass in a point would be

so for an easy object like a sphere of the earth the center of gravity is the point at the very center ..

then we can do all calculations based on the distances from the center as iff all the mass was at the center and there was nothing else..

There the same thing, I havent done this yet but i think your just over confusing yourself. You said a location is a position, then a position is a location
