I'm unsure exactly what you mean by your question. The 'center of mass' doesn't really have a numerical mass. We can't say that the center of mass weighs 23 kg. Rather, the center of mass is the LOCATION of the average of all the mass in an object. An object is going to have little bits of mass spread out all over whatever volume it occupies. We like to compute the center of mass because we can usually treat the object as if it was a point particle, with all of the mass of the object located at the center of mass. This simplifies calculations when we do physics work.
Additionally, think about this: The center of mass doesn't even need to be within the object in consideration. The center of mass of a doughnut is in the middle of the hole! In this case there is NO mass at the center of mass. But the average still is in that spot.
