If the force of the moon on the Earth was greater than the force of the Earth on the moon, we would be orbiting the moon.......
As the moon revolves around the Earth, gravity provides the centripetal force which keeps the moon in its orbit. The Force of the Earth on the moon is

a)Much greater than the force of the moon on the Earth
.
b)Much less than the force of the moon on the Earth.

c)The same as the force of the moon on the Earth.

d)Is the only force acting in this example

-
By the 3rd law of Newton, (c) is the correct answer.
'Every action has an equal and opposite reaction'

-
