..So, hed refer to a statistician, and bet the opposite.-No.......
I think this is a very good scientific question.

How would he use science, or mathematics, to predict the winner?

He wasn't too good with statistics and probability...

So, he'd refer to a statistician, and bet the opposite.

No. He will not be able to. First Super Bowl was played on Jan 15 1967. He died on April 18 1955.

Should he be alive at this present day and age, he still would not be able to predict the Super Bowl.

Mathematics and science will only be able to provide statistical data. You would have to take into account all the variables such as weather, player injuries, team work, strategies etc. You are only able to calculate a statistical advantage based on past encounters. (e.g. In 2011, Patriots set a new record with 13 wins and 3 losses in the AFC league, yet they lost in the Super Bowl to the Giants 21-17)

-
If he could know the outcome of every sports game, he wouldn't be in theoretical physics, he'd be in Vegas.

-
He could use math to create a probabilistic analysis witch take their stats and **** and deeply compares them but he cannot definitely say who would win

-
Are u a complete dumba** or troller? He used the bacon formula of course!
