So let's ask this again and hope no one reports it

jpl.nasa.gov/It has a planet counter, and unfortunately it says there have been no discovered earth like planets.-There have been a few hundred planets discovered so far in our galaxy. The most interesting thing is how different most of them are from the planets in our solar system.......
how many planets have been discovered so far in our galaxy, and what, for any reason, seem the most interesting
also, unrelated but anyone's free to hazard a guess as to why this question has been deleted before

I don't know why this question would have been deleted. Anyways, to answer your question, check out this handy link:
http://planetquest.jpl.nasa.gov/

It has a planet counter, and unfortunately it says there have been no discovered earth like planets.

There have been a few hundred planets discovered so far in our galaxy. The most interesting thing is how different most of them are from the planets in our solar system. Especially their orbits are different; not as large and also more elliptical than most orbits of planets in our solar system.

As to why your questions are deleted, trolls who don't like you can just make many accounts and use them to report your question as violating guidelines many times that way. And if you get reported too many times the software automatically deletes it; no human checks it unless you protest it. I think. You should get an e-mail from Yahoo telling you the reason it has been deleted, and that mail gives you an opportunity to protest the deletion. I have protested some of my deleted answers, and gotten some of them reinstated.

This is an official site:
http://www.exoplanet.eu/
If you click on "interactive catalog" you will get the list of all the CONFIRMED exoplanets.
There were 574 the last time I checked (today Sept. 1)

If your question was deleted because it was reported, you should have received an email with (at least) a hint as to why it was deleted.

If it just disappeared without a trace (even if the main Yahoo!Answers page claims "This question has been deleted") then it could be because of a glitch, because of an attack, because a server decided to go for a coffee break (or whatever computers do when they decide to wander off), or any other number of reasons (including a server deciding to "burp" and go back to its last back-up copy which was just before you asked your question.
