I was contacted by aliens and I can assure you they are just as real as you and I. The aliens told me they have been around earth since before humanity and I didn't believe it when they told me but after studying history more thoroughly I see it is almost assuredly true. The aliens do in fact know the future, they proved it by showing me films and telling me things about the future that no one could possibly guess. Aliens do not need to invade Earth because we don't have anything they need, their primary interest in us is studying our social interactions and affecting them, they are extremely knowledgeable about people. So here is what the aliens told me about the subjects you are discussing.
1. Most people in NASA are not nearly as expert as people give them credit for. They can't know for sure if the world will end.
2. Solar flares can be more extreme at times but Earth is in no great danger from them because of our magnetic field.
3. Global warming from human activities is not real but it is a simple concept that is kept in the public mind to draw attention to the real problem, the environment is being poisoned from pollution. Most of the history of life on Earth saw warmer temperatures than today and in those times life was much more abundant.
4. The Bible is widely misinterpreted. The Book of Revelations is a symbolic dream about the ending of the Roman Empire. To them at that time, the Roman Empire was the world. For the dream literature to spread around and be accepted by Romans it had to be coded. That entire set of prophecies was fulfilled many hundreds of years ago. The Vatican is New Jerusalem.
5. The Mayans believed the world is destroyed and a new world comes into being at the end of the long count calendar. People tend to overstate what they mean by this, they are not talking about planetary destruction but about major changes in society. Their calendar is based upon celestial movements, not on changes on the earth.
6. Aliens have always changed our society as they saw fit, they do not need any public display of military might in order to do this. The aliens told me that it is a known fact that the human race will prosper for millions of years.
