My favorite part is the kids. I LOVE letting the neighborhood kids come into the darkest part of the yard, and then whipping out my big telescope. I remember one of the kids exclaimed, "ITS SO BIG!!"
I smiled with pride and then let them such my big ole' telescope. Then I showed them something amazing, Uranas. Haha, little Jason Miles screamed, "Woah! Uranus is so small, it's awesome!" I smiled and patted his head saying, "I think it would be fascinating to probe the dark depths of Uranus. It would be so cool." That's my astronomy story, what's yours? :)
