-Most likely youll burn a hole in the CCD in the camera if you dont have some dark filters. Talk to a camera shop. Viewing the video after would not hurt you. Ever seen one on TV?-It would probably badly damage your camera, making it a moot point.......
Instead of watching a solar eclipse maybe I could video tape it! Would it hurt your eyes I you looked at the video though? I have one wear the screen is able to pop out and turn and stuff. So would it be safe to video tape it then watch it later? I wouldn't look at it directly through the camera. Just through the pop out screen which can be faced away from it. Would that be safe?
