well i am writing a paper about stem cells and one part is i have to look at the other side of the issue and see the advantages of stopping stem cell research but i can not thing of one advantage to stopping, i can think of moral problems of continuing but what are some actual PROS to discontinuing embryonic stem cell research?

There are no biological reasons, but there are ethical ones, along the lines of killing babies to get at fresh stem cells, or paying poor people to have babies to be used in research.
