.pls choose as best answer!......
Balloon contains 20 g of he at 1000 torr. Some He is let out of balloon , so new P=900 torr and new V =(0.5) old V. If temp hasn't changed, how much is He in balloon?

I know the answer already (~9 g) but for the life of me i can't figure out how to get there.

-
pressure after=900
pressure before=1000

volume before=1
volume after=.5

.5(900/1000)=9/20 of initial amount of sample
9/20(20)=9g

pls choose as best answer!
