Current models suggest the sun will expand to a red giant in about 4 billion years, and will broil the Earth's oceans. Within a billion years after that, friction of the Earth with the sun's outer atmosphere will cause the planet to spiral into the sun.

Sometime between right now and a billion years from now when the sun causes all plants to die and the oceans to evaporate.

When the sun runs out of Hydrogen it will expand and destroy all the inner planets.

5 Billion years from now. Hopefully we will have moved by then.

some tell that it will end in dec,2011 [ according to mayan calender ] , but this does not have a Scientific proof
