Okay i have a question about science that's been bothering me lately, the thing is you have to explain the science statement especially the one in CAPS

-The FORCES acting on an object affect its MOTION

-
A force is that which causes a mass to accelerate either by changing its speed, direction or both.

Motion is that which is discribed by displacement over time.

-
You need to understand the difference between a FORCE and MOTION. Apparently you've been sleeping in class and are not able to open your text book, so your best bet is to use the magic little search box on top of this page.

A FORCE is any influence that causes an object to change its MOTION.

MOTION is movement or direction, and it i caused by a FORCE.

For example, if you kick a soccer ball, the kick is the force and the ball moving away from the kick is the motion.
