Use the mirror equation to calculate the Focal length of the mirror.i dont get how the equation works with a question like this, please help, thanks!Type that into you calc and invert the answer by using the button that looks like this x^-1 and thats your focal length. For magnification,......
please help, thanks!

2. A dancer is applying make-up using a concave mirror. The dancer's face is 35 cm in front of the mirror, and the image is 72 cm behind the mirror. Use the mirror equation to calculate the Focal length of the mirror.

i don't get how the equation works with a question like this, please help, thanks!

1/f=1/distance of object+ 1/ distance of the image

So the distance of the object is 35cm and the distance of the image is 72cm plug those in and you get 1/f=1/35+1/72

Type that into you calc and invert the answer by using the button that looks like this x^-1 and thats your focal length.

For magnification, M=-di/do

Same variables as above
