Can someone please help me with my test review I understand most of it except a few things and this is one of them I just can't seem to get the right answers no matter what I'm getting numbers like 700 , I have no idea what I'm doing please help ..

For the first one, you would have to find factors of -24 and pair them up. Like -2 and 12 multiplied together give you -24. But added together would also have to give you a positive 10. -2+12=10
So the factored equation would be (x-2)(x+12)
Same for the second one. -6 and -6 multiplied together give you a positive 36. And -6+-6= -12
So the factored equation would be (x-6)(x-6)
