you can't get a real answer, but you can just get x.
you have to add 3y to the other side because you want only x = blahblahblah
2x = 3y +5z
then you divide everything by 2 because you only want x
x = 3y/2 + 5z/2
reason why the letters are on top is because if you multiply, you multiply only on the numerator(top #)
