put y = 0,hence x = 0 or x² = 4, i.e. x = ± 2, so 3 x-intercepts.......
I for the life of me cant remember how to do this.

Find any intercepts. y^2=x^3-4x There wouldnt be any Y intercepts are there? How do i find the X?

also

y=x^2+x-2

For y-intercepts, put x = 0, then the equation becomes

y² = 0

so there is a y-intercept at x = 0, y = 0.

For x-intercepts, put y = 0, and you get

x³ - 4x = 0

x (x² - 4) = 0

hence x = 0 or x² = 4, i.e. x = ± 2, so 3 x-intercepts.
