How do I find x?? D:

......
3^x = 6^x-1
x = log base3 6^x-1
x = x-1log base3 6
x/x-1 = logbase3 6
x/x-1 = ln3/ln6

^^^ Thats all ive worked up to! I dont know how to solve for x :(

-
xlog(3)=(x-1)log(6)
xlog(3)=xlog(6)-log(6)
xlog(3)-xlog(6)=-log(6)
x[log(3)-log(6)]=-log(6)
x=[-log(6)]/[log(3)-log(6)]
x=2.5849625007211561814537389439478

-
x = (log (2)) + (log (3)) all over (log (2))

x = approximately 2.58

-
log3^x=log6^(x-1)=(x-1)log6 , xlog3=xlog6-log6 , x(log6-log3)=log6 , x=log6/(log6-log3)

-
x/(x-1) = ln3/ln6

x = (x-1) ln3/ln6

x - x ln3/ln6 = -ln3/ln6

x = -(ln3/ln6) / (1- (ln3/ln6))

-
yes
