but if you reset your calc,You should see 1.03490...I have a TI-30XA,......
Ti-84+

Sec(19pi/4)

I know that it's 1/cos(19pi/4) and the answer is supposed to be -rad2 ... how can I get that answer to come up in my calculator? All I can come up with is a decimal, I tried converting 19pi/4 to degrees and I still got the same decimal.

you would have to create a program on it so that your answers can appear with a squareroot

like this person here said ; http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?…

but if you reset your calc, the program is gone so =/

From the inside out

pi * 19 / 4 = cos 1/x

You should see 1.03490...

I have a TI-30XA, but the input should be the same
