Jules kicks a soccer ball off the ground and in the air with an initial velocity of 25 feet per second. Approximately what maximum height does the soccer ball reach?

0.8 ft
1.6 ft
9.8 ft
19.6 ft

-
Assuming the ball was kicked vertically upwards
0 - 25^2 = -2*32*h
h = 25^2/64 = 9.76 ft
h = 9.8 ft

-
h = -16t^2 + 25t + 0 (0 is initial height since the problem said it left from the ground)

Vertex is when t = -25/(2*-16) = -25/-32= 25/32

Plug that in to find h: h = 9.8 ft

Not enough info the question is a typo or a trick you need to know the height after so many seconds
