I gave my 2 year old a tsp of ibuprofen at right around 7 pm last night and he woke up burning up about 10 min till midnight but in my half asleep and without glasses state I had misread the clock and thought it had been long enough and gave him another tsp. So he had 2 doses in a little less then 5 hours instead of the 6-8 the bottle states. Will this hurt him? We are on vacation so I didnt have a thermometer to check his temp but he was very hot (radiating heat to me through both our clothes)

A second dose between 4-6 hours shouldn't be harmful. Just give the next dose as though you have given the 2nd dose at the right time.

that wouldn't be harmful but continue the drug at proper intervals from now on..
