6m. Is this correct?b) what is its mass according to a stationary observer?I got 4.6 x 10^6 kg. Is this correct?......
The star ship Voyager at rest has a length of 120m and a mass of 1.3 x 10^6 kg. When it is travelling at 2.88 x 10^8 m/s

a) what is its length according to a stationary observer?

For this answer I got 33.6m. Is this correct?

b) what is its mass according to a stationary observer?

I got 4.6 x 10^6 kg. Is this correct?

Thanks !

Assuming c = 3.00E8 m/s,

a) L' = L*√[1 - (2.88/3)²] = 33.6 m----------OK!

b) M' = M/√[1 - (2.88/3)²] = 4.64E6 kg--------ATTABOY
