a) How long does it take for the pencil to hit the floor?b) How fast is it going just before it hits the floor?.-Gravity = 9.9.you should be able to figure it from there.......
You drop pencil from your desk, which is 1 meter above the floor.
a) How long does it take for the pencil to hit the floor?
b) How fast is it going just before it hits the floor?

-
t = √(2d/g)
v = √(2ad)

.

-
Gravity = 9.8m/second

9.8m/s = 1m/t

you should be able to figure it from there.
