Once again, a question about quotas was recently posted, and several answers suggested the strong presense of officers on the road at the end of the month is proof quotas exist.
If this was true, wouldn't it make sense to just not speed at the end of the month? Wouldn't that get the majority of police officers in the US reprimanded? Why are the police arresting all these speeders that know they are going to get stopped because it is the end of the month?
I have so much more to add, but it is last day of the month, so I need to get out there and get some speeders.

Me? I speed whenever i feel like and havent gotten a ticket in a while.
Honest cops? They don't know about qoutas.
Corrupt cops? They are usually out in numbers at the end of the month.
I won't argue about it. And since i dont drive around with a camera in my wallet, i have no proof.

NOT ALL cops working at the end of the month are corrupt. The fact that it doesnt happen around honest cops (or perhaps not in your jurisdiction) doesn't mean that it isn't happening. Speak to your own facts and stop swearing for people y'all don't know.

My strategy is to not be the fastest or most aggressive driver on the road. If you're exceeding the limit, make sure there's somebody in front of you exceeding it more obviously. It's worked quite well for some 30 years of driving. No speeding tickets.
