Everyone is freaking out on the east coast that this is going to be such a BAD storm.. They are saying this is like very dangerous and may get worse.. They are telling people to prepare and to evacuate, and people are spending all this money.. My family did all of this, from buying plenty of canned goods 3 cases of water bottles, 7 gallons of jugged water, a GENERATOR, tons of candles and matches,radios, car phone chargers, and we were working in the yard and house ALL freaking day... I just keep seeing this storm keep on getting weaker and weaker and weaker and weaker... but they still saying its gonna be bad.. Is it going to be that bad?

It's good to be prepared, but I don't believe this storm will live up to the hype.

depends on where your at. but where im staying, which is in virginia, there isnt much water over here so were probably going to get the weak part of it. the worst place to be in this hurricane is New York and North carolina as they were already given evacuation orders

It's more of an issue with the area not being as prepared for it. Since it's not a common occurrence, people are unsure of how well their city/state's resources will cope.
