so that means inconvenience.-If the city says to evacuate, then evacuate.Staying in the city during a hurricane is NOT a good way to escape anything.......
The evacuation date is by tomorrow at noon. I wanted to know if going to stay at a building that has about ten floor is a good idea to escape the hurricane?

BTW, I live in Pennsylvania.

I think a building that has the less area to cover in escape would be better

but that is my opinion - keep us posted on your status

I am not aware of any place in Pennsylvania that has mandatory evacuations in place, except for perhaps Darby, PA. And about the tallest building there in the flood area is perhaps three stories.

You may be confusing a State of Emergency versus the mandatory evacuations along the New Jersey shore. A State of Emergency allows for the mobilization of resources.

Depending on where the tall building is, such as if in Manyunk along the canals, it could be cut off by flood waters, so that means inconvenience.
