Yes. The first time I saw one was when I lived in Florida. He was under the bathroom sink and I was so afraid of him that I grabbed my hairspray and sprayed it on him so much that he couldn't move. He was dead after that.

As long as it's not on me, I'm fine. The only spiders that scare me are tarantulas and black widows. Those things are terrifying. Spiders that are often found in gardens aren't scary. They just eat flies and bugs so there's nothing to worry about.

They're not really considered dangerous, a little sting, that's all.

nope. i am not afraid of arachnids and actually find them quite interesting.
