Why do some people insist aliens don't exist

Yup, it is definitely impossible that any of these stars could possibly have a planet with life. Rather, it makes me think the chances are quite good.-Because they believe that only in our Earth, there had been right condition for formation of life ands in right condition now so that lifes sustained.......

It's usually ignorance and/or belief in a God that created man and only man. As an avid amateur astronomer, it's hard for me to look at the trillions and trillions of stars in the universe and think to myself, "Yup, it is definitely impossible that any of these stars could possibly have a planet with life." Rather, it makes me think the chances are quite good.

Ignorance, fear, close mindedness. It seems like other types of life similar to us is a very realistic possibility.
