Jeffrey K say: If the sky went black even for a second, billions of people would have noticed. That includes astronomers, meteorologists, pilots, air traffic controllers. Choose a bloody best answer. It's not hard. say: No scientific explanation for the sky going black. The explanation of a plane is common. Not because the sky would go black but because the light would be dimmed, and if you're in a brightly lit room it would feel as though it were darker.

Ask the neighbours. It won't have been seen by you only.
